Remarks

Our institute holds the 2nd rank in Assam. Many students come here from lots of places of Assam. Because of these factors and other factors I choose this institute. I love being technical so I opted this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 4 courses in our institute 1) mechanical engineering 2) civil engineering 3) computer engineering 4) electrical engineering. Institute have there all available workshop and practical lab. Faculties are highly experienced. M.p math is one of the famous sir in mechanical engineering department and he has 20 + year experience.

Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

Every year lots of companies visit the campus to hire student to work for there company. Where many students are hired and get job. Salary gives the company to 20-30k per month. First a student have to appear for the company's Viva for get a job

College Events

Nowgong polytechnic has its own polyground where students can play football cricket and lots of game there.WiFi is available on compeutar lab and size of the library is not so big and. Not so small lots of books store in the library and equipment of lab are so modern and all needed labs are available in nowgong polytechnic and special feat of the institute is "arohaon "

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers should condier the students who do not understand Assamese and try to use it as less as possible during the class for the convenience of the student who do not understand the language at all. The frequency and timing of the exam is quite good and I would like it to be the way it is.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good here top companies visit every year offer lot of packages. The placements generally starts from 7th semester and continue till end of 8th semester. Mainly the highest package is offered by tech companies and last year it was about 52 LPA. The average package is about 14LPA for Electronics and Instrumentation branch. And 52 LPA is highest. Almost 85-90% students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that is followed there is in accordance to ugc norms, that means its similar to Delhi University syllabus. Because of the syllabus in BA, it helped me to crack the PG entrance of DU. Although for humanities students they could include more practical learning as well.

The CACHAR college provide very good placement to the student in every year. in every year almost 10 to 20 student got placement in various company. Last year TCS and Mahindra company visited our college and required the student from the college. All the recuited student percentage more than 75%.

The placement of our college is very good which almost 100% placement rates in almost all majority courses. Our department start hospital placement from 5th semester onwards. Our college itself also has an outpatient department which helps in practical training of ourselves. Hostel placements in the nursing department starts from first semester itself.

The practical learning of the subject. It provides quite deeo learning into each subject. As the course provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge it becomes quite easy to apply the knowledge to further academic of occupational pursuits. Also it provides 3 months internship after the completion of the course. The improvement areas are the teaching methods of some subjects like pharmacognosy, social pharmacy, etc. Exams are conducted in a time interval of every 2-3 months. The duration of the session exams are 1and half hours while that of final exam is 3 hours for each subject.

Life in GIPS

Placement Experience:

In the 8th semister, students will eligible for campus placement. Our college will organize campus placement. Where different companies come and if you pass the interview then you will get the job. Companys like sun pharma, Ajanta pharma will come. And they have different requirements. In starting you will get 2.5 lakhs of the package and other offers are there. In GIPS most of the students get the placement. My plan after b pharm is I will study for M pharm in GIPS.

Remarks:

The college infrastructure and teaching quality is good in comparison of other local college and the college teachers are good and friendly with the college student. And the negative things is that there is no boys hostel.
