Rajesh Reddy's Review On ILS Law College - [ILS], Pune

The college is set around a protect hill which is lush green all year round. The college is very strict about student attendance which essential for becoming a good lawyer. You definitely feel sad while leaving it after graduation.

There is no entrance exam requirement for getting admission in ILS. As per pune university rules it is not required to have a entrance exam. Usually commerce students with above 70% marks and science students with 80% marks can expect to get admission easily. Though percentage criteria changes year on year basis. Further, there are caste reservations as per university guidelines. There are both ba.llb and llb courses at offer at ILS.

Overall syllabus is good. ILS college syllabus is based on syllabus tailored by Pune University which is pretty structured which provides students with ample exposure to many acts and laws of our country. Subjects like constitution of india, contract law, family law are particularly good. Further the subjects like company law, labour law, IP laws are also part of the syllabus.

Not provided in college. Many students engage in internship fron the college between to semesters. ILS students do get internship pretty easily. Doing internship does add value to the CV of the students. Recommendations are provided by the faculties, if required.

Many of my colleagues were placed in some prestigious organisations. Separate classes and seminars are conducted to train students for placements. These classes and seminars are jointly organised by Facilities with the help of volunteers (students). Students here are groomed for interviews and future jobs. These seminars usually take place from 2nd year for llb students and 4th year for ba.llb students. During the last year many renowned companies regularly visit the college. There are guest lectures, where we got numerous opportunity to meet top Advocates in the country. Famous Advocates have passed from ILS who do pay college a visit. In events like international moot courts there are many celebrity judges. Such events are regularly held in the college. Both students and faculties take active part in such events. There are big auditoriums where such event are organised and many students of fellow colleges are also invited. Such events are proudly organised by the college.

Much lesser than any other colleges in the city. Being exclusively Law College fee structure is very simple and fees charged are least then any other college in the city. Student are not burdened with any additional charges nor any extra fees. Students who are economically backward are allowed fee concessions. Hostel fees are charged separately and are very affordable.

I did not avail any scholarship. There are few ways scholarships for the students to avail. Students can get information of scholarship from the college information desk.

Ils has one of the biggest grounds in the city. College has many intercollege sports teams like football and cricket, rugby which participants in many sports events. The college has a history of producung very good theatrical groups which regularly wins prestigious awards.Mostly there is equal gender ratio. The college has very good hostel facilities especially for girls.The college attracts students all over the country. There are few foreign students too.

College and its alumni are very active in Bar council. The college carries prestigious. There are many prominent actors, politicals and lawyer passed out of ILS.

At par with university standard. Exams are held in simister pattern. Usually 8 to 9 subject each half of the year. For passing students are to score needed to score 35 marks in each subject and 50% in aggregate. So studing regularly helps.ILS library on

Very experienced and qualified and have keen interest in overall development in the students. Few of the college's teachers are well known social activists as well. Residentant faculties are also knowledgeable. Principal is also very nice and easily acces
