It has got great placement rates, the starting packages are really good. Here all-round development is taken care of by good faculty. Students also become part of different philanthropic activities as the college is part of Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha

The syllabus is kept up to date by the subject faculty as the college being an autonomous college has liberty to change the syllabus. Enough industrial exposure is given by different seminars and workshops. The whole faculty is dedicated and highly knowledgeable. The teaching methods are creative. Most of the teachers in the faculty have a PhD degree in their respective subjects and have also been a part of different research teams and projects.

The companies that have visited comments college are Golden Shack, Microsoft, Boeing, Cummins and many more. Last year the highest package received was 40 lacs by a female computer science engineer. The placements are really good and great packages are offered. The placement department is a separate body which has several faculty members who are very helpful and train the students so that they can excel in their interviews. The alumni network is really good in the college. Several alumni students give different opinions on the placements and the packages in the form seminars. The entrepreneur cell in the college is very active and several of entrepreneurs have graduated from Cummins College.

The campus life is great. Helpful seniors, numerous club activities, several social activities. Gandhaar is annual fest and Techfest is technical fest held at Cummins College. College holds various competitions for Gandhaar and the participants include students from different colleges and similar is the case with Techfest. Both of these events are held for engineering students and both of these events last for minimum of three days.A good sound system is used during the entire fest. Advertisement of the fest is done in different colleges by the different student volunteers.

The college is a pro at training students for different sports activities. The students are taught different kinds of sports and they win a lot of prizes in different inter College competitions. The college library has got several books which include technical as well as non technical books and students can borrow the books from library for an entire month which include 3 technical and 1 non technical book. The equipments used in labs are are very advanced and different kinds of experiments are done also extra experiments are done which are not included in the syllabus so that the students can get the maximum experience of the laboratory. The mechanical workshop present is also highly up-to-date. There are not only physics and chemistry labs but also graphics labs and computer labs are present.
