Remarks

Savitri Bai Phule pune University then I see the institute i.e Sinhgad institute. I have done some mistakes during filling the form and hence then by luck by chance I got this college considering the extra ciriculum factor I took admission there

Course Curriculum Overview

It was good, bt some of the branches specially 1st year staff gets involved in students personal issues. Bt overall teaching is pretty good and Concentrate on extra curricular stuff too.special focus is done on case studies and extra knowledge

College Events

Main attraction of this institute is its events specially karndak. We all eagerly wait for all the events everytime. There are compititions, voluntaring and fun. We also get to learn more.Certified senminars are also get arranged during this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships on maha dbt website is provided by the University. There are many schemes available and they varries for each reserved quota students. Also some hostel scholorships are also available

Campus Life

Library have many useful important books, it also have a reading section which is quite good.overall infrastructure is great also have seperate floor for each department, it is a 8 floor building have sports section as well

Hostel Facilities

Campus hostel is very nice. Infrastructure is also good it has 4 floors including ground floor. Security is also concerned as cleanliness is also maintained, they also do pest control once a week.we need to pay aprox 60000 for hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 62000 per year

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.
