I am studiyung in govt women's college tvm vazhuthaccad.firstly i prefer it over others is beacuse its a govt college and College is most famous for its name and it is in tvm and mostly it is a womens college. High security and no ragging

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are revised in terms.syllabuses are little bit tough and so hard to understand. Teachers are so friendly and college is provided with good library facilities.

Class Size: 21Course Fees: INR 1450 per year

Placement Experience

As it is a government college and also the courses are not profeesional there were no job guaranteed. Placements are taken place bank tests and others. Many students were placed through these but not so much

College Events

There is a good overall performance and there had taken arts sports day and all festival celebrations are for three days. Department days are festivals for each one. there are lot of students engaged in university arts festival and inthis yrar college got 3rd rank

Campus Life

College campus is of vast area and thetre were many departments. Also the inauguration of the new building is over and it is ready to use. There were separate buildings for each departments. A good and great library is owned by college

Hostel Facilities

There is no seperate hostel facilities for college. There is university hostel which is located just near to campus. Hostel is for 3 colleges and the admissions are purely based on mark and distances. There are seperate rooms for ug pg phd research scholars

Hostel Fee: INR 1000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of KTU (Kerala Techinical university) is very tough ,outdated system,teaching method is very wrong, old method are using here, semester time period is short, student can't catch their subject on this time period, 6 subject with 12 module or more complete in 2.5 months after this immediatly exam starts,so need more time interval for learning and add more partical based activities in curriculum, theriocal subject is more compare to partical,student are just by heart some portion and attenting exam, so they don't know partical working of machines

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students

I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies,need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided. I applied so many colleges which have psychology like University college, MG college, SN college and women's college. But i always loved to study in women's college trivandrum because once when i came to women's college along with my sister I saw how the programs or any other things were organized by girls.
