Remarks
The most genuine answer would be because it was situated in my hometown, other reason would be because after CEPT (Ahmedabad), MSU (Baroda) and SCET (Surat), it was the best University I could get admission in for the course of Architecture.
Course Curriculum Overview
The facilities include : Gyms; T.V. Room; Telephone facilities; Internet facilities- 52 MBPS dedicated leased line. Generator backup in case of power failure. Mess. There was no infrastructure problem during my college tenure. The hostels were well-equipped. Students got free Wi-fi facility. One thing which needs improvement is the mess food.
Internships Opportunities
At IPSA, and every other Architecture institute, there is a compulsory 6 moths internship period which could be different depending upon the one's college. I had the opportunity to carry out internship at Design Concepts, Gangtok, Sikkim. It was run by two principal Architects, Ar. Lhendup Wangdi Bhutia and Ar. Sonam Tashi. The work ranges from Hotel designing to residential designs, commercial highrise design, country houses, spiritual places, etc. The stipend we receive were Rs. 4000/month but staying was free at their accommodation. For Internship, I just mailed them my portfolio of works carried out during 3years of my college, so that they can decide if they like the work I did and amount of softwares that I know would help them in their line of work.

Campus Life
The Campus was beautifully designed by our own Director Ar. Kishor N Trivedi, away from the hustle bustle of the city near village Virda Vajdi. The college had different studios for different year students, plus an A.V. room for presentation during lectures and jury sessions. In the heart of the campus was an Amphitheatre, like a courtyard of a house where most of our activities were concentrated. It also had a proper library space where there was a system of knowing which books were available and which were issued. Suitable sitting and reading area, Archive space, Magazine section, and other areas. A canteen area where one can quench their hunger, Events ground, Sports ground in collaboration with VVP college.
