Remarks

Good : Campus is really good in academics,Food,extra-curriculum,placements. Faculties are very generous in nature and teaches in very illustrative manner. Bad: There is so much strictness in our college such as there is a different dress codes for different courses.Students have to maintain the discipline otherwise fine will be charged. Also there is no entry without ID card in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, The faculty staff is really good in encouraging the students to do there best in academics. They trained the students as per the industry requirements that is really helpful in securing placements. They provides us workshops, conducts seminars for motivating students to perform well.

Placement Experience

4

The Placements are good in Regular/Full time courses and provide the students resources to prepare for the interview. But there is no placements in SDE departments.

College Events

4.5

Some events in our college are Rena-Tech which is a technical fest which include quizzes and rewards, dance and singing, various technical or programming skills sand workshop, Rennasaince is a cultural fest which includes dancing, singing, modelling, acting, celebs and much more. This year our college organizes awareness campaign on COVID-19 through digital posters. Students can point towards the various impacts of the virus or it's preventive measures.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is expensive here. My annual fee is 50,000 in SDE,they accept only demand draft. No, there is no additional fee for securing admission.50,000 is the overall annual fee which includes tuition fee i.e; 30,000, admission fee- 18000 and exam fee; 2000.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I did not opted for any scholarship or any loan. And also there is no option for scholarship in SDE course. But if one wants to go for the full time course they provide the scholarship on the basis of scores in boards exam or entrance exam.

Campus Life

There is no gender, caste, religious issues in our college as in others like Jamia.etc.The faculty staff, students, and other staff members are highly educated and they has a firm belief in equality. So these issues doesn't bothers anyone. Also college conducts some workshops and campaigns for spreading awareness among gender equality and much more.

Hostel Facilities

No, I did not opted for hostel. But there is separate girls and boys hostel inside the campus. Canteen and mess is common for local and hostel students.I don't know about the fee structure of hostel, but the detail fee structure is mentioned in the college website. Also I don't have any hostel or pg's experience.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are really very helpful. We can ask anything about the course or exam pattern or anything which we are doubted on, the seniors can help without any arguments. Our college is very strict towards ragging.

Admission

As I have a done BCA form distance learning department so there is a direct admission in SDE . But for those who wants to take admission in other regular courses there is an entrance exam. BVIMCAM is affiliated to GGSIPU so there is separate exam such as IPU-CET/NIMCET/CAT, based on these exams the selection of students is done on the basis of there merit and choice preferences they will make during the procedure.

Faculty

4.5

As I am graduated from distance learning department so my lectures are just 3-4 in evening only. But I know about the regular courses specially for MCA course. There are total 8 lectures in a day. Also I have some certificates course in SDE as well such as cyber security and value education which is helpful in adding on my resume.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is MSC operations research, which is a very vast and deep course. It goes deep into understanding business operations and providing the businesses with best quality steps. There were real life projects which have helped me alot in understanding difficult topics. If there could be more projects it would have been more helpful for studies. The exams level is moderate to difficult, have to study hard to perform good in tests/exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.
