Anonymous's Review On Farook College (Autonomous), Kozhikode

It is a renowned college not only in calicut but also in kerala. The Commerce faculty was the best in the city. The college is also known for both high academics and extra curricular activities. One of my aunt passed out who had really good experience.

I took bcom finance. Since, the college is autonomous, the revised syllabus is updated immediately and special classes are also conducted for better understanding. We also have industrial visits where we get to experience many things. The faculty is very supportive and encouraged us to aim higher.

There are many clubs like dance club, music Club, management programs, debate clubs, etc. The debates are conducted in the alternative days of every week which has developed a view in me. The college allows us to participate in all management fests which are really a source of enjoyment and you get to experience a lot.

The National sector scholarship is one of the best one. There are also many scholarships by the kerala government. The college has appointed a lecturer who looks into the scholarship matters and there are clerks also. They will help you in providing the right information and help you.

Farook college has quite a big infrastructure. The main attraction is the library which is been inaugurated by Abdul Kalam. We have been the calicut University winners in softball and handball. There are special labs for disabled students for effective communication.

I stayed in one of the ladies hostel. The college is among the top colleges in providing the best residential facilities for students. There are also many pg facilities nearby. The average rental fee is 3000. The facilities in hostel include mess, gym, court yard, badminton area, etc
