Remarks

Average, College management needs to improve and work more towards student placement. Otherwise overall my experience is average you can say.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty much the same as all other colleges. Yes, it definitely groomed in certain areas to provide industry-specific knowledge. Practicals and labs are okay but the student needs to work more on their own instead of relying on teachers. Placement wise my college is not good. The placement ratio is below average. in my bath of 2015, around 30 students got placed among 400 plus students. But most of them who have not cleared the placements are now in well-reputated government jobs and PSU.

Placement Experience

2

Placement is below average. Only service-based companies like TCS used to come.and now that ratio is degrading as well. The institution is not taking any steps in student's communication and skills development so you need to work mostly on your own. Hopefully, the institution should take steps now for better placements in the future.

College Events

4

Annual cultural fest - Udhbav, then tech fest - technovation where students from different colleges also participate. These two are only big events and students from other colleges are invited to attend and participate. Few sponsors also we used to get for tech fest. In cultural fest, multiple evens are there based on talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very feasible. 48k per year. It's a semi-government so fee structure is decided by government. No additional fees are taken. The hostel fee is separate. That is around 60k per year. The total process is very transparent. You can opt for a scholarship as well if you fulfill the requirements. There is also a provision of fee wavier for the top 2 rank holders of every branch.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

UPTU (GBTU) offers a scholarship program for all the students who meet certain criteria. The average scholarship sum is 45000 per year.

Campus Life

Campus life is average and it again depends on students. The labs are good. There is an annual sports fest as well. boys hostel mostly take interest in sports- cricket, football, badminton, etc. Students usually do practice before classes on campus and badminton practice in the auditorium on weekends. Robotics and debating are done once a year in the tech fest.

Hostel Facilities

No, seats are limited and are of a first come first serve basis. I stayed in a private hostel- Adelphi (1.5 km ) from college and it was best at that time with a rent of 4200 with all the facilities and food.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a Facebook page of college alumni. People help there if somebody's in need. Senior junior interaction is good in the college and might have helped a few but with my personal experience, it's of no use.

Admission

Through the UPTU entrance exam, its a state entrance exam through which students can get government and private college based on their rank. Exams will be conducted in May end or June. The admission process is pretty much the same as another entrance exam, the qualified student can do online and offline counseling and choose their college after the documents verification process.

Faculty

3

Few are very good like microcontroller and processor faculty, electronic faculty, and math faculty. They are pretty much experts in their field but not sure who all is still there since 2015. The rest all is just okay so we need to study on its own. The labs are good. But electronic faculty is not that good. Few of the lecturers are quite old and have good experience and knowledge. But the younger and new faculty are not up to the mark.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field

The records placement cell is impressive because they organize useful and up-to-date seminars from time to time. Therefore the placement record is one of the best in Greater Noida. Last year was 98% placement. Placements start from the 7th semester.
