Remarks

I am a homoeopath and an adult learner of 45 yr old and wanted to pursue an education in psychology, and MNWC gave me admission despite the gap of 20 yrs. Admission process very easy and was taken care in a day. it has very good faculty who take a personal interest in student's growth. a lot of co-curricular activities for the overall growth and train a student for everything. tries for women empowerment in real sense.

I wanted to pursue counselling so took up Bachelor of arts. good student-faculty ratio. Well-Qualified faculty and very helping. teaching methods are good for helping to work on concepts. term exams were on time till pandemic and needed thorough studies to pass them.

Got to have an internship with Mumbai Mobile Creche through Child development dept. Due to pandemic, didn't get the opportunity to have more internships which start in S.Y.BA.

the college has its own placement cell and has career fairs from time to time also gives guidance to prepare for CVS and interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not tried to know about them as I didn't need the.

Campus Life

Availability of books is good. being adult learner not part of the annual fest but part of department activities like research competition, psychophysics, the event of psychology dept, availability of smart classrooms. various sports, curricular and co-curricular activities like poster making, essay writing, poster making etc. also different cells and initiatives of college-related to social awareness.

Interview Experience

Personal interview. There were some questions regarding the objective to study after such a gap of 20 yrs.

Wilson College: An Honest Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in Psychology which is why I opted for this course. Social psychology was especially very interesting to me. The curriculum is good when it comes to future prospects of giving competitive exams. However, it doesn't prepare you a lot for real-life applications as much. The course can definitely include more practical experiments which would make the subject more interesting. Better assignments/projects would also be beneficial. The exams were twice in a year. They weren't very difficult and easy to clear if one studied the portion well. However, I do feel that the exam pattern could be more application-based.
