Entrance Preview

I attended Andhra Pradesh EAMCET to get my college and i choose St.matins engineering college as my college because it had good lab facility, faculty and mainly it is near to city.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship in a private company which is a switch gear company so that i learned practically how to make them and use them in effective manner. I didn't get any stipend for that i worked to gain some practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

My college consists of on campus placements but most of the companies from it industries only like infosys, tech Mahindra etc. I feel for core branches like Mechanical, Electrical and Civil branches who want to go to their respective core industries our college doesn't provide any path to us.

College Events

In our college we celebrated college Annual day, Traditional day and sports days every year. Annual we have so many programs like dancing, singing and motivatinal speeches from guests. In Traditional day we celebrate represent many cultures in India by each department In sports day . We remember and hourners the students who shines in sports.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I am student who gets scholarship from Andhra pradesh GOVT. So I need to pay any amount except JNTU fee Rs.5000/- every year and semister exam fees are common.

I didn't get any scholarship by college but i receives a scholarship from Andhra pradesh government.

Exam Structure

Every year we have 2 semister except 1st year of our college very semister consistes of 6 subjects and 2 lab exams.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

College: where I learned how to live a life

As I got this College in TSEAMCET counselling, I was having a lot of options other than this college , but since I have mentioned this college in my counselling, I have got it , and even if I have not mentioned I would have got other better college. This was a recommendation from one of cousins. In TSEAMCET my rank was 29k , and as I am a general category student I was not able to go to any other better college becouse of reservation.
