Remarks

Well for starters it's very close to my home, This college has some of the best faculties.. with great understanding of there respective fields.. This college has some of the best faculties in civil branch and at first my choice of preference was civil so I applied here but I got computer so it continues...

Course Curriculum Overview

Well computer science was my second priority. I wanted to be a civil engineer and then after fight IES but then after got computer so I'm continuing in this the faculty and students ratio here in computer branch is approximately 60 students and 10 teachers. Some of the teachers here r PhD holder which is a great deal.. and there teaching skills r also good. Term exams were always on time there was only a few days of mis match because of college events.. or someone visiting our college for special lectures.

Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is a program every year college tells to.do.an internship or training.. In this we r given some. choices if one wants to do himself or not.. if not then they have IITs for training.. some companies for training and all. So. they do this training or internship and share all about what they achieved during that training or internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well honestly speaking sometimes I feel like. The fees is so high and also the yearly raise in exam fee is also troubling . It costs me around 35050 per semester.. and further when exams r scheduled it costs around 1600-2400. Depends on sem exams.. There r some scholarship I clearly have no idea about..

Campus Life

Campus Life is good there is a fest held every year.. books are available in library.. Sports and extra curricular activities r there for those who are interested in doing so.

Interview Experience

Yes there was an interview during admission.. There are some criteria for admission such as jee scores if not that then 12th percentage.. and according to that they give u seat in your native field.. Honestly I didn't prepared..

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

Life at BTU,Bikaner

I had applied for MBM,Jodhpur and RTU,Kota . The reasons are firstly they are more closer to my home town Jaipur , secondly they have better infrastructure, more educated faculty and MBM has its own mining site(I want to explore it). Also the environment of Kota and Jodhpur is more promising and satisfactory as compared to that of Bikaner. I did't got admission there because of my low reap rank or say JEE exam. Admission process is quite simple . I got admission through REAP(Rajasthan engineering Admission Process) which evaluates your JEE score(entrance exam for IITs , IIITs,NITs and GFTIs) and 12th score and gives a ranking .The eligibilty criteria for this course is passing class10+2. The college also provides direct admission on the basis of 12th score . During the admission process student must have to carry all the documents along with the passport size photograph . It is more convenient to bring a guardian or any member that is more comfortable for that process....Read More
