My Journey with BVRITH : Transforming Dreams into Actions

We approached a few students who are already studying in the college and we received a positive feedback about the college and it's lifestyle. The admission process was pretty much simple. Before the admission process, I had taken an entrance examination. I had taken an entrance examination through TS EAMCET on May, 2017. Through this entrance examination rank I got admitted in the college on June, 2017. Since we got a positive feedback about the college, we have decided to join in this college. Today, I am proud to be a student of BVRIT HYDERABAD College of Engineering for Women.

We approached a few students of the college and many of the students inspired me to take up the course of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. We have got an information regarding the placements and lifestyle of students belonging to various courses of the college and so we have compared the results and feedback given by students and I have decided to join in this course. Faculty and students ratio in our college is 1:14. So, for every 14 students there is 1 faculty in order to make sure that students are well disciplined and are paying at most sincerity in academics and placements. Faculty in our college are friendly and always encourage the students to participate in various events like Hackathons, competitions, and many more. Faculty in our college are highly qualified professors from the prestigious universities. Faculty take the feedback from students and teach accordingly. Term exams are timely and we could secure the best score every time the exams are conducted.

Our college offers various internship opportunities. Students did internships from various companies like Surabhi Institute of Renewable Energy, RenewSys, BHEL, etc. I did an internship from Surabhi Institute of Renewable Energy, Surabhi Educational society from Begumpet, Hyderabad. This internship opportunity was provided by our department of our college. During this internship, I gained practical knowledge on Solar technology and basics of Photovoltaic cells. On gaining knowledge on Solar technology, we did various projects on Solar technology in our college after working in this internship.

Every year various companies visit our college campus in order to recruit students from various departments. In our college, students pursuing their B.tech degree in 3rd year will have the eligibility to apply for a company for placements. There are various companies which visited our college till date including the companies like Amazon, Capgemini, Infosys, Hexaware, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, DXC technology, and a few companies. Students in our college received many offers from various companies in Campus recruitment process, a few of them received even 3 to 4 offers. Till date the highest package offered for the students in our college is 30 LPA and the average package offered is 4.4 LPA. Most of the students are getting placed in our college. I recently got placed for the company Capgemini with a package of 3.8 LPA and so I am grateful to our HOD, Placement Cell and our faculty who supported us. I'm eagerly waiting to work in a sophisticated company like Capgemini after my degree.

The fees hike policy and the cost to study in our college is nominal for the students to afford. Many of the students in our college are being provided with scholarships. At times a few students of our college were unable to pay their fees on time because of some financial issues. In order to support our students, faculty and students provided financial assistance. I recently got a job offer from the company, Capgemini in campus recruitment process with a package of 3.8 LPA. Many of my co-students have also received various job offers from different companies like Capgemini, Accenture, Amazon, Infosys, Hexaware and many more with various packages starting from 3 LPA upto 30 LPA.

In our college, every year students and faculty conduct some technical and non-technical fests in order to encourage students to participate in various events and showcase students' talents in various areas. For every two years in our college, students and faculty conduct the fest, "Medhanvesh Fest" in our college. Students from various departments join this fest in order to showcase their talents. In our college library we have various books, journals and magazines for students and faculty. For every department there are a big stack of books available in order to let students access them. Life in BVRIT HYDERABAD College of Engineering for Women is amazing. There is a lot to explore in our college. We have clubs like Toastmasters club, Sports club, Cultural club, Meraki club, etc. These clubs conduct various events in our college including sports competitions, Master Orator Championship, festival based competitions like Sankranti Rangoli, eco friendly Ganesha making, etc.
