One of the major reasons for me to choose SIBM Bengaluru was because of the decent placement statistics. Being located in Bengaluru, which is a corporate hub itself potentially giving more corporate exposure to the students added onto the weightage of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
A General MBA gives a broader understanding of management education giving the candidates an opportunity to really be thorough as to what they would wanna pursue, making it the reason for me to choose it. The course curriculum is very inclusive and stimulating at the same time, providing scope for thought processing rather than rote learning. The faculty of the institute too substantiates the same, giving us a holistic understanding of the subjects
Internships Opportunities
SIBM Bengaluru offers very broad options for summer internships for each of the specialization - Marketing, HR, Operations, Finance and for the new programs introduced this year - MBA BA and MBA QF. Students are given the opportunity to choose the specialization they want to do an internship in and later on choose companies accordingly. Most of the major companies that come for final placement also come for summer internships as well to the institute, making it a great learning experience
Placement Experience
SIBM Bengaluru offers great placement opportunities to the students, with the average and median placements at 10.26LPA and 10.25 LPA respectively. The highest offer according to the latest placement statistics stood at 25LPA. A lot of industry giants come to the institute for both final placements as well as for Summer internships, with great profiles in each of the specializations. The institute also offers 100% placements.

Campus Life
SIBM Bengaluru follows a student-centric campus life, where every several clubs and committees together conduct the various events and ensure the smooth functioning of the institute. This creates a space for an extremely interactive environment on campus and provides an opportunity for the students to put their management learnings into practice. There are several major events (cultural, sports and management related) that happen every year on campus. the classroom sessions too are very interactive in nature.
Interview Experience
Clearing the cut offs for the SNAP test while also having 50% or more in the graduation are the basic criteria for getting shortlisted for the interview processes at SIBM Bengaluru. After this, the candidates take part in the GD-PI process, post which the merit lists will be given out. The interview experience at SIBM Bengaluru was great and the event was very well organized, leaving no space for any complaints. And as far as the preparation is concerned, keeping oneself regularly updated with the current affairs is what is key.
