Remarks

It is the only hotel management institute under mg university, and also they provide a 4 yrs bachelor degree. All the teaching staffs are well knowledged and experience. The infrastructure is soo beautiful and all the required things are also being provided. Hospitality field provides a great carriers for a student and also it is easy to get a job after the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus were updated. BHM also provides a 6 months industrial traing during the course. Faculties were very experienced, there where many faculties whom were good among which I think Shyla ma'am was the best, as she has a great knowledge and she helps very one for any needs.

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have done a 6 months traing in Taj gropu of hotel during which they provide a stipend or 1200 per month.

Placement Experience

College provides 100% placement for students in diiferent companies. And also many high standard company also comes for placement to the college. College helps the students in a great manner inorder to get placed in a good company.

College Events

College use to celebrate all kinds of funtions like onam, christmas etc. College also conducts arts day, sports day. Comparing to other colleges the celebrations are conducted in small manner like college do no promote a large event or large fund.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not applied for any kinds of loan or scholarship so I dont have much knowledge about that. I think colleges helps in provideing loans and scholarship.

Campus Life

Capmus provides all kinds of facilities like liberary, computer labs, practical labs, gym. Campus also provides a football ground and a physical training section for every batch. College also provide college bus for the students wich travells around 20 km around the college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is soo good. A room is shared between 3 people and the rooms are large enough. Bathrooms are common which are adanvced and which are cleaned daily. Hostel provides a common mess in which a cyclic menu is followed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
