So the conclusion about the college is Srinivas Institute Of technology is superb College for study in the whole south canara district, and go for it if u have a upper middle level score in the PUC examinations.

I have got admission through KOMEDK- K examinations- the exam is being conducted by karnataka government every year in april - may, I got 23000 th rank in the examination. Since the college location is good, teaching is good, placement is good this all made me select this College.

Generally that time College was not offering any internship, so by taking my own interest i want to the industry and did all the needful for the internship and college issued request letter for internship to that industry. After getting permission letter from the college i started my internship with one of the most reputed chemical company in the india and undergo one year full internship training there i got detailed knowledge of how process industry working, how the maintenance activity is planned and the same plan is executed, what is project and how it's too important to any organisation.

The following companies are visiting the campus frequently Source Bits Global Analytics India Pvt. Ltd., IBM India Pvt. Ltd., Reliance Solar, MphasiS, Future Logistics (FUTURE GROUP)i-flex, Volkswagen, Sankalp Semi conductors Pvt, Coca-Cola India, infosys L&T technology services, Almost all major MNC'S are visiting the campus frequently and the placement ratio is 80-90 %.

The campus life of the college is very good, u will learn how to behave at the workplace how to dress, The college is maintaining the good gender ratios among the campus and hostels. and one thing is for sure there is no religious partiality in the college or college campus or at the hostel. Apart from this the college is very good in the increasing the the empowerment at each stage and function at the college.

Hostel facility was average !! ok it's not like a home made food but u will get the good food according to the charges they are collecting. The hostel rooms are very clean and spacious there are two type of rooms available in the hostel rooms for single and room for 3 sharing basis. If there is no room in the hostel one can go for the PG and the PGG Charges are around 4000 - 5000 INR per month.

College seniors are very helpful by the nature they will help you out in every matter of the college. If u have the fear about the ragging in the College just forgot about the raging the seniors are not allowed to speak with the loud voice while interacting with the students. Apart from all of this after passing out seniors will help you out for getting a job.
