Remarks

Because I asked from my coaching seniors and they suggested me NIT BHOPAL. I also checked online about my college and checked out complete details about college. Also the location was perfect. Bhopal is in India's middle and trains connect to every city from here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are very good. They teaches on board and on projector too. I think they all have PHD which represents their intellectuality. And I appreciate that. Academic session include a syllabus of total 10 topics. It is updated every year. Which is very good for us.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

We are trained by our college on how to give interviews. Placement department invites many companies to have a visit which allows better chances for us to get selected. For my branch the placement is around 95 percent. So all good.

College Events

Extra activities has to be done by student itself. They can form a group or club and organise various events. College only organised to events a year. But they are really good and you don't want to miss it. We have a big ground where all students gather around and enjoy.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship is awarded by college. And no incentive is given for future studies. That is the place where improvement is required. Loan can be taken from sbi in our college.

Campus Life

Campus is quite big compared to other nit's which is not a good thing as we have to walk a lot. Labs are highly eqquiped and library has all kinds of books anyone desire. Wi-Fi is very fast do that everyone can use it. So campus eventually is good.

Hostel Facilities

We have options when it comes to room picking. Double or triple. Room size is decent and the average fees Paid is 40000 per year. But it also depends if you are taking a double or a triple bed room. Hostel facilities include water Wi-Fi and electricity.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
