Remarks

The branch I wanted was available. I have many relatives living there. It was one of the oldest colleges so its reputation is quite high. There was good placement statistics last here. That's why I picked it.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are variety of subjects taught to us one semester. It is well framed and perfectly managed. Faculties are highly qualified and super talented. Syllabus is quite ok in length. Everything is quite decent.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 63000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are quite decent and better than some of the other NITs. Many company visits are campus during the placement. There are some faculties which are specially appointed to help students for placements.

College Events

Two of the big festivals are Technosearch in one sem and Maffick in the other. At these festivals, students visit our college from all parts of India. Every year, it is organised and it is very popular in our city.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I have not taken any scholarships. College offers loan through sbi at cheaper interest rate. So these are the facilities.

Campus Life

Campus has all the faculties any student require. It has sports complex, energy centre, small gardens, library. Hostel buildings are renewated in every 3 years. Only the wifi speed is not upto it's mark.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

I do not have the detailed knowledge about placements of our college but i guess 900+ companies visits yearly in our college and almost every student gets placed.
