Remarks

It offers many courses and also we can interchange course. It has a good location and my college is situated on a hill so the weather remains cool. Mechanical in NIT BHOPAL is considered very good so I chose it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are very updated and well managed. Faculties are highly educated. They have a lot of knowledge. Academics includes 6 major subjects with some lab practicals. These together makes one session. So all good.

Alumni group is created in our college so that students can interact with the alumni and learn about placements. Companies take interview at our campus and they hire the students. Placements start at the end of 3rd year.

College Events

Campus life is awesome. We have a good routine and we try to follow follow it so as to bring out our best performance. Festive events that takes place are Technosearch and Maffick which are really good.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I have not availed any type of scholarship. We can get education loan from any bank and can directly link it to our student account.

Campus Life

Campus is covered 75% with trees. So there is greenery all the time. Campus buildings are very old as the college is very old. We have New teaching block which is newly made. Also, sports complex have good facilities for students.

Hostel Facilities

Most of our hostels are three storeyed buildings and are very well maintained. Mess food is not very good but I think no college hostel provide good food. Hostels have price of 40000 per year and 20000 per year of mess.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
