Remarks

DG Vaishnav is a well-known college. Though our country is going through a tough situation of covid19, the college is conducting regular online classes where each student is given a seperate roll no. to mark his/her attendance. The college protocols are followed strictly. The faculty is fairly good according to the course taken by me. This college was recommended by friends, family, and relatives. The admission process is simple. Forms available online. After your form is selected, you will be called for an interview and make the necessary payment. I applied in July 2020 and received the confirmation details in august 2020. This is not the best college but fairly a good college to complete graduation. To know about the courses, one can very well surf the browser or download the CollegeDunia app as I did.

I chose BBA as I am continuing with my family business. Just to complete a course and have a degree, I chose BBA related to business development. The faculty is fairly good. Bba is an easy course.

Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Placement Experience

I joined DG Vaishnav college this year. I am still 3 years away from my placements if any (BBA is a 3-year course).

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees vary according to the course taken. A normal Bcom general cost around 58000 whereas bba around 55000 ( as in the year 2020). There is a price hike yearly.

Campus Life

Due to covid 19, the college campus is under sanitation. Also, the government has not relieved the restrictions yet. Hoping that the colleges will soon be open from the following month. I learned from my friends already studied there that, the college has all the basic amenities.

Placement Experience:

VIT has a very good placement and the placement rate is 99.2%. the highest package is 1Cr. CTC. the average CTC is arounf 600000. around 200 companies visit VIT everyear. from the 5th semester placments and placement training will be started. students should have minimun of 7cgpa and 60% in their school educations. and students with standing arrers are not allowed to sit for placments. currently i'm looking for the placements in my college

Brutally Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

The placement process begins from the third year i.e. the fifth and sixth sem. But be warned the placement is pure dabba. The companies that visited are goldman sachs, pick your trail, venture lts, greenbay, taj, audible, TCS, etc. the package varies from 3.4 LPA to 12 LPA. These are just peanut money btw. The college says there's 100% placements ( joke of the century) but in reality only 70% gets placed. I plan to do MBA from a different college.

There are 3 departments in my college.Except my department other 2 department students can go for interviews for jobs and internships.My Aviation related jobs requires a degree certificate to attend interview.I can place on any airlines with the advantage of holding a aviation degree In my department, Placement rate is 99% I assure that.My plan is to get place on any role in airport to gain experience to become a Male cabin crew (Flight Attendent).

I took BBA as I personally business which lead me to take this course and it has more opportunities too.. this course will prepare you to shape your career you have to do internships and project which will help you to improve you more .. the areas of improvement are we expect outdoor classes also so that students can learn more the timing is quite okay.. it's 9 30 to 4 so it won't make you difficult

I choose DG vaishanvcollege for its strong academic reputation, affordable fees structure and excellent placement support especially in HR and marketing . So i applied LIBA ( Loyola institute of business management and SRM ) other than DG vaishnav college . I got acceptance from DGVC and SRM and i got regected from LIBA . I chose DGVC as it has affordable fees of 4 lakhs in total , also they are giving duel specialisations, also its affilated to university of madras , placement support and location advantage. I got rejection from liba as the cut off was not clear as my percentile was below 80 as the cut of was 85 plus. The admission process was quiet simple for DGVC as the - 1. Eligibility to apply was min 60 % in Bachelor degree 2. TANCET exam was preffed we have to submit the application through online portal of DGVC. Submit the TANCET score , it will shortlist accoding to the cut off , then we have a personal interview and final selection and documentation process...Read More
