Galgotias University is a private Co- educational university which offers in teaching, research and innovation, and has more than 100 Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. The University is based in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.This University was established in 2011. Galgotias University, Greater Noida is fully Government recognised and Galgotias University Uttar Pradesh Act has been notified by Government Act No. 14 of 2011. GU is approved by University Grant Commission i.e. UGC and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

Course Curriculum Overview

The respective faculties are good but the matter or syllabus is out of date so that is management's fault. Practical work is much needed than theory but still you get a good overall review of every department.

Placement Experience

We don't have any sort of placements in Bsc forensic science or even MSc for that matter. Although placements are offered in almost all courses but not in this department. Although overall high qualifications for jobs so can't blame

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Remarks:

It is a lush green campus soothing to both eyes and soul, with excellent infrastructure making it anybody's dream college to be in. Being away from the city's chaos it's both peaceful and pollution free while taking care of both your physical and mental health at once.staff and seniors are friendly and cooperative. The college having students from around the country helps you learn new cultures and traditions which as whole is an enriching experience.the most exciting part is that the students that have passed out or graduated from the college are doing well.studying in this college has been a wholesome experience for me.

I got offer from Indian Institute of Technology Patna for pursuing Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science and Data Analytics. I studied there for 1 year and completed my Foundation degree and then left it as there was not much exposure due to the course being hybrid. The admission process for Galgotias is either having a valid JEE MAINS score or a good percentage in class 12th. The merit list is made on the basis of percentage (most students are selected).
