Remarks

The college has a good reputation and a good atmosphere. They have well trained teachers and staff. They teach us in a proper way. And they have many circular activities which makes us to come out of a comfort zone and try something new

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was just perfect as the college is and academics, faculties are just easy to approachable. They provide us enough materials to study and they explain us the whole syllabus in a fun way so that we don't get bored

Several companies has visited our college for placement opportunities. They have a perfect vibe while performing the placement department

the extracurricular activities are just meant for us to understand and get some knowledge about it in a detail manner. the events which our college holds is just a perfect space to showcase our talents and to adapt some pressure for performing well

If the student gets good marks in studies as well as extracurricular activities the college will provide a scholarship

Campus Life

sports facilities, quite big size of library, all equipment available in labs, different stages to show your talents, a big slot of parking vehicles, good palate of food, cafe coffee day. Everything is available

Hostel Facilities

I don't know about hostel infrastructure and all as I have not adopted it. But, I'm sure just as everything is well and clean our hostel is also well and clean. They provide hostel room for pg students also

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the southern indian most famous chemical company is there in our circle and other chemicals companies are there. other then this reason I like the chemistry subject and exciting to learn. In our chemistry department teacher give good preparation for the semester exams. My point of view the exams are easy to write excepting only few subjects.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

Brutally Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

The placement process begins from the third year i.e. the fifth and sixth sem. But be warned the placement is pure dabba. The companies that visited are goldman sachs, pick your trail, venture lts, greenbay, taj, audible, TCS, etc. the package varies from 3.4 LPA to 12 LPA. These are just peanut money btw. The college says there's 100% placements ( joke of the century) but in reality only 70% gets placed. I plan to do MBA from a different college.

I choose DG vaishanvcollege for its strong academic reputation, affordable fees structure and excellent placement support especially in HR and marketing . So i applied LIBA ( Loyola institute of business management and SRM ) other than DG vaishnav college . I got acceptance from DGVC and SRM and i got regected from LIBA . I chose DGVC as it has affordable fees of 4 lakhs in total , also they are giving duel specialisations, also its affilated to university of madras , placement support and location advantage. I got rejection from liba as the cut off was not clear as my percentile was below 80 as the cut of was 85 plus. The admission process was quiet simple for DGVC as the - 1. Eligibility to apply was min 60 % in Bachelor degree 2. TANCET exam was preffed we have to submit the application through online portal of DGVC. Submit the TANCET score , it will shortlist accoding to the cut off , then we have a personal interview and final selection and documentation process...Read More
