Remarks

This is one of the college in Kannur that offers B.pharm course. I searched in the internet for B.pharm couse in my district and I found out that this is the college that was more closer to my place.

Course Curriculum Overview

Crescent college offers every pharmacy Undergraduate courses including B.Pharm, D.Pharm and Pharm.D. We didn't have any industrial exposure as many students are not interested in industry related works. Almost every senior staffs teaches better. The syllabus was updated in 2017 and semester system was adopted.

Placement Experience

Job opportunity includes as a pharmacist in clinical pharmacy or community pharmacy. Our college doesn't provide placement in any pharmacy. Most of them undergo practice in community pharmacy.

College Events

Our college hosts events including Onam and Christmas celebration, Arts day, college day and sports day. Almost every one participates in these events. One of the problem in conducting the outdoor events like sports and game is that the college doesn't have its own ground. Our college conducts these outdoor events in a nearby school ground.

Campus Life

Our college have a large library and a college auditorium. Thousands of books that is useful for pharmacy students is present in the library. Also, journals and magazines that is related to pharmacy is present. The water inavailability is one of the major issue in our college.

Placement Experience:

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

The course doesn't require any entrance exam. Eligibility is to pass plus two in science with min. of 50%. Application is through Akshaya centres. The application fee is about Rs100. Crescent college is one of the best college in Kannur that provides the course B.pharm. They also provide other pharmacy courses like D.pharm and Pharm.D.
