Remarks

I opted for this college because of its curriculum activities, teaching staff, ambience and also because it is sole colledge in Ahmedabad which provides B.com Honours. This degree is prestigious as it has 200 credit points, higher than any other course in commerce. This college is also awarded as Asia's most trusted brand in 2016. It has its own Gym, which is enough to please anyone; as it also promotes extra curricular activities other than academic success.

Course Curriculum Overview

This degree is prestigious as it has 200 credit points, higher than any other course in commerce. The chapters of our book of each subject are hand picked by our professors for the academic purposes of the students. Each faculty member is highly infliated with the student council group, who work to create extra curricular activities and day to day participation of students in programs and seminars.

The placement, campus interviews and job related opportunities are handled by a well known faculty member. In our college, different brands have held big interviews which gives students a highly package per annum.

College Events

Each faculty member is highly infliated with the student council group, who work to create extra curricular activities and day to day participation of students in programs and seminars. Every month our college brings guest speaker for seminars to promote students towards the needs of the societal welfare. The campus has an Auditorium for exta curricular activities and seminars. It also a multi facility Gym.

There are not many scholarship program offered by the management but there is installment payment system, which is easy and hassle free for every student.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is highly modern and in wood finished. The campus has an Auditorium for exta curricular activities and seminars. It also a multi facility Gym provided by the University for the students and the professors.

Hostel Facilities

In our college there are hostels for both female and male students, which is 10 meters distance from the campus. It is a safe and a healthy environment for female students as it has night and day guards. And the amenities and facilities are no less than a 3 star hotel in a city.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester student is become eligible for campus placement, so many no. Of companies visited & made offers some of them are tata, reliance, amul, adani nd many raputated companies. Highest package 12 lpa and average package is around 3-5 lpa. Percentage of student getting placement is average basically its depends how they perform in interview. My plan after getting the degree is to do Masters

Course Curriculum Overview:

.The Infrastructure of the University is very good. The surrounding area full with gardens and treesand I feel very calm here and the course facility is also good .All the teachers are well and all are qualified or certified and they taught well which help us to prepare for further academic pursuits . They should have to taught on the basis of student level and they should have to ask the students do you understand the term or not .The timing of the exam is from 1pm to 4 pm

So many companies are there for placement like India Biz, Vijay Sales, Renault and many more. In the 6th sem of BBA student is getting placement offers. The highest package is 6 LPA and avg is 3 LPA. Almost more than 80 per cent of students get placed.

Admission:

There is a VAT test (written ability test) instead of GD where they will give a topic to write in 15 to 20 minutes. They give generic topics in VAT, whatever currently happening and that totally depends on which field you are choosing to study. In VAT, they don't check your knowledge instead they check your thought process because they want to examine your point of view. In the interview, there were two professors from IIM A itself where they asked me a bit about my field that is Agro, my academic & personal background. What I have learned from this process is It's all about your communication skills that how you are interacting at that particular time. So, don't get stress just be composed while the process.

For Jobs and placement, the college has a dedicated placement cell. they improving our soft skills and conducting mock interviews and group discussions to explore more ourselves. although overall placement is not good at all we need to put our 100% then only we can get something better.

Everything about GLS
