Remarks

The college ranks A grade in NAAC.the teaching is good.has good placement cell when compared to other colleges.also all the staffs were very friendly with students.there is no ragging it is strictly prohibited.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm very much interested in accounting so I choose this course.the best education is given here.teaching is good and activities are given.this makes the students to understand in a better way.this activity is taken as internal mark.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 74000 per year

Placement Experience

70 to 80% of the students get selected through campus.they are placed at higher jobs with a good salary package.

The most biggest national level event in our college is nakshatra.every colleges can participate in our event.famous celebrities are invited.this cultural and events are done only by the help of students and staffs together by college management.

If you scored got marks or merit,there is some special scholarship for students.poor students can also apply for scholarships.

Campus Life

The campus is very much large in size and there is separate space for parking.we also have labs, library,play ground.there are separate building for both UG and PG.the students canteen is good and all types of foods are available.

Hostel Facilities

There are many rooms for both boys and girls.hostel is little bit strict so every students are safe and secure.hostel food is ok.and hostel fees is affordable for every student.for air conditioning room there is a separate fee structure.

Exploring SNSCT in my POV

Placement Experience:

For campus placements students of the 4th year or 7th semester are the eligible ones. Multiple companies like zoho,apple,TCS,CTS, accenture etc have come and multiple small companies too. But the intake for the big and reknown MNCs were low from abt 2-3 candidates only.the placement here is 100% but the companies may vary.My future goal is to go for a government official stream after I finish my masters abroad.

The reality of Univesities

Course Curriculum Overview:

me being a law student expected a lot of practical and theoretical examples to be presented in front of the students when I first joined in, but the reality was far less than what I expected. The professor is mostly came in read. Whatever the book said and left, gave us few assignments and group projects to be completed without any particular information from their side. We had to sit and do research on our own without any input, and then we'll go summit down the assignments or projects or whatever task was appointed to us, and then we'll have a viva through our work and that's pretty much it . The new professors who joined in by our third year, were very practical, made us understand a lot of things which the previous professor didn't. They answered a questions. They were more relevant to us because they could understand that some topics were forced on us and supposed to be taught, maybe twice or thrice just to make us more comfortable or just to make us more smarter in that area by understanding it in depth . law is one of the most interesting and difficult courses out there, but then if you have the right professor is leading you to it, you would learn easily and more efficiently. in my area of study, practical work was not very much included other than participating in mood court. It was all theory based which is not very important in a way because when you finish your course and get into the real world when you go to your corporate world or litigation side, you need practical experience and you need to understand how to do work and not just learn the sections or the theory part so something that they could have improved was rather than giving us assignments or group projects they could have made us understand and giving us real life situations or give given us more practical practice so that it would be easy for us to understand what litigation is and how we are supposed to do it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took MCA to get placed into IT companies . The subjects in the MCA is very interesting but the students who studied UG course and then the pg course also in the same college then it is totally waste because they are studying the same subject again. Very bad thing is that in this college they are providing the same subjects and same syllabus for UG and PG students there is nothing different. But i have studies ug in other clg so for me it is different so i managed and it is interesting

Vels University is not that bad

It's very easy to get admission in this college as the admission procedure is very simple. You can directly go to the head office, and you can contact the people sitting in the reception. They'll guide you and throughout the admission. Also, it's near to the airport, which should make a travel entry for the students who are coming from the other states. Also it is situated in a very good place. The college is situated in Pallavaram, which has various like basically everything is present there beat food beat hostels. it's a good place. The location of the college is very good making it very accessible other than the location. The faculties are very nice.
