Campus, surrounding, affordable fee, safety, nearby to my home, transportation facility, clean environment, food facility, proper course, calm localized, popularized college, local welbeing, practical classes. And many more

Course Curriculum Overview

Not so good exposure, studies are mostly emphasised on book n copys only, some faculties are really good, but some are completely bull shit, don't really understand student's prblm, some don't make anything understand properly. Just here for there salary

Me being a student of this college. Until now. No extracurricular was organised for us, no fresher, no annual sports, no annual function nothing. Yes its too disgusting n depression as well,.

Campus Life

Blocks are too far, there are many play ground in which you are not allowed to play, there is no wifi facility, your self internet works even slower when you enter this college, sufficient books are available for the students

Hostel Facilities

Its a little bit dirty, food is ok ok types, washrooms n bathroom needs repair, doors n windows are seriously damaged, food is not that healthy, warden is too over rule added with. Cold Ragging of seniors, but some seniors are really good n helpful

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.
