SRM has very high-tech labs and provides world class exposure to children. Many reputed companies come here for recruitment, like Goldman Sachs, Infosys, TCS,etc. I opted for Electronics and Communication because this branch has a very wide scope.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is not very up to date but it's the same case with other engineering colleges in India as well. Other then the regular course, there are many clubs that one can join to keep themselves updated with the current technology. They have all kinds of setups which allow you to experiment and advance your career.

I interned at BHEL Noida and I got in through a referral.
Placement Experience
A lot of well-known companies come for placements. Some examples are Goldman Sachs, TCS, Infosys, KPMG,Cognizant, Larsen and Toubro,etc. The placement rate is high and the packages go upto 22lakhs. A lot of alumni is working in very good companies in India and abroad like Nikon, Apple,etc.
College Events
Our college holds two annual national fests namely Aaruush and Milan which are techno-management and cultural fests respectively. They see participation from various colleges across India and a lot of A-grade celebreties come to perform in both the fests. Milan is also India's largest college cultural fest.
Fees and Financial Aid
You can avail a scholarship based on your merit in the SRMJEE exam or you can get it afterwards as well if you are perform exceptionally well in your academics or co-curricular activities like sports or arts in college.
Campus Life
All the labs have world class equipments and the library is spread on 3 floors and is fully air-conditioned. The campus has two separate gyms for men and women which are well equipped. The campus also has various sport facilities like a huge football field,basketball court and a badminton court.
Hostel Facilities
SRM has separate hostel compounds for men and women. Each of them have innumerous buildings and a there are a lot of options from which students can choose. The hostels have both AC and non-AC rooms which have minimum 2 people sharing it and can go upto 3 depending on the building you choose. The rooms are very spacious and well-maintained. There is a separate study table, bed and wardrobe for each student. Bathrooms are available in both personal and sharing, depending on the building you choose, but all of them are very clean and well maintained. There are plenty of rooms for everyone and there is never a shortage. They are allotted on a first come first serve basis. The starting range is from 75,000 per year(mess fees included).
