Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM) is first of its kind National Institute which provides skills, knowledge and platform for both agribusiness and plantation sectors,that will creates the future leaders.I choose PGDM-ABPM course to gain knowledge and skill related to agribusiness sector and to become a future leader in this sector.

Course Curriculum Overview

The programme is divided into 6 classroom trimesters covering 102 credits including Corporate Training Segment (summer internship) of 12 weeks.The curriculum is also updated periodically catering to the ever changing needs of industry.Students also have opportunities to interact with industry leaders through vision building talks.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 829500 per year

Placement Experience

The Placement Assistance Cell of the Institute facilitates interaction between prospective employers and the graduating students.Institute provides assistance to all students for summer internships and final placements.Institute have corporate connectivity with over 390 organizations.companies from various sectors such as agri-inputs,commodities,food processing,plantations etc.came to the campus for the placements.some of top companies visited are Adama,Bayers,Godrej Agrovet,Rallis india,syngenta etc.In banking sector banks like Axis,HDFC,ICICI,NABARD came to the campus for recruitment.

College Events

Institute conduct various annual events like Tempora,Bueno Festa, Smriti-The alumni meet,various days celebration like Hindi Diwas,Shiv-Jayanti.various sports competitions,conferences and workshops. Also the Industrial guest lectures and career development programmes.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship facility offered from the institute.but students can apply for the scholarships if eligible to their respected state governments.Also programme is NBA accredited so students can avail the loan facility from any bank easily.

Campus Life

Institute has the volleyball court,also facilities for the indoor games such as table tennis and carrom etc.Institute have a wifi enabled campus and computer centre. Institute has modern library facilities equipped with internet access.Library is currently subscribing more than 140 journals both national and international repute. It has more than 8,000 books on diversified subjects.

Hostel Facilities

Yes i opted for the hostel facility.there are separate hostel facility for boys and girls.one of hostel of boys is in campus and another is within walking distance.mess charges and hostel charges are all included in above mentioned fee of 829500

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

They offer placements for all different departments. The placements starts from 1st semester it self. Many top companies come to presidency University like the big 4 companies, Deloitte, long, ey, and pwc. Apart from these we also have many other top mnc companies visiting our college for the placements.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
