Remarks

Best agricultural university. Infrastructure is quite good. Hotels and mess facilties are also good. College has many societies like chetna, SPIC MACAY, E Cell, e.t.c which give us platform to explore ourself. Teachers are very helpful. Facilities are up to the mark. Environment is favourable for study. Library is very helpful as it contain each and every book of our need.

Course Curriculum Overview

Need more industrial exposure. Almost all courses are related to practical work so therefore only theory classes are not sufficient. Faculties are very much helpful and they always try their best to provide us with the best facilities and support.

Don't have much idea about that. Placement of bsc courses is not that much good. Btech placements are fine.

College Events

Sports day, cultural nights, etc. Each society have their own events. Food science and technology department has organised world food day which is of international level. Participants from different colleges participated. Many other events are organised which are of national level.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

From 5 semester the students are eligible for the placements wipro infosys and many other companies frequently visit university for the recruitment of the students he average package here is 6 to 9 lpa and highest package this year was 47 lpa 10 to 25 percent of students got placement only my plan after getting degree is ongoing for masters
