Remarks

It's women's institute so automatically you get more chance as compared to others university as first priority is a women, secondly the interviews held are firm very good cam lines with good annual income.

Course Curriculum Overview

Academics is very well planned and explained and courses are very good easy to understand And every college society conducts a workshop for the students and curriculum is also good, faculties makes student everything easy and help students too

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 100400 per year

Placement Experience

As I mentioned the women's university gives first priority to a women as in other colleges boys are mostly prefers as first priority

College Events

A student will enjoy this university as the university conducts a huge feat which has technical as well as technical events such as games, computer quiz, online and offline treasure hunt, technical event such as writing reports and mock test

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
