Remarks

Good infrastructure Well known abt its discipline And it's near to my home town There is a strict discipline to guide the students There is no raging culture The syllabus provided by the institution (according to the engineering syllabus) is completed by the institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was up to date, if there was any change in the main syllabus used by the higher educational institutions followed by ours, our college used to present that in our syllabus Yes they provide a good knowledge on industrial exposure Yes the faculties are good and some of them are too nice as in case of both knowledge, explaining and behaviour.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Placement Experience

Some of the companies are really good for the students career but the college in order to increase the rate of places candidates the bring even the least desired companies by the students. As I am just entered into 3rd year I barely know about the placement process.

College Events

3.5

Some of the technical experience is worth but some of it is so limited which is should be taken into consideration Every year we have a cultural and technical festival (EXPO) Generally the expo is of 3 days duration We literally enjoy it and as in parallel we too present some of the technical ideas.

Campus Life

Every year there held a annual sports competitions And college also encourage the inter games like basketball cricket and volleyball There are WiFi antennas for in every hostel but the speed is very low There is a good, spacious and clean library and also there are several good number of books and special copies Other than that they too have a good number of journals.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are small and they are not so nice I think they should also look into this matter There is no washbasin in the 2nd 3rd and 4th year's hostels The paint is actually of lime and it is always sticks to our body if at all we are touched to it.

Hostel Fee: INR 64000 per year

College students are friendly and affordable
They give many fests and cultural events

Dislikes

They discriminate between girls and boys always
Discriminate between locals and others mainly if you are from Bihar
Many fights between odia and bihari every year

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible in 8th semester for sitting in the college placement the average package is around 3 lakhs mostly companies are startup's like tech yatra , mtechin etc . Major companies like tcs , tech Mahindra also come

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

GIET AND IT'S INSIGHTS

I have not applied for any other colleges as I have left with no choice at the end for pursuing Btech and I have not scored good in JEE as I wasn't preparing for opting BTech. So for choosing private colleges in odisha I chose this because the place is remote and it is heard that the climate is very pleasant. The admission process starts at the month of May an amount of 20000 for seat reservation is taken which will be reduced from the final fees i.e. 2,39,000 when you come to the college admission that helds in the month of July inside the campus. The students and parents should come with the credentials required for the admission which are copies and originals of student's adhaar card, 10th and 12th marksheet, Migration certificate, Father's adhaar card . This fee structure is according to 2023...Read More
