Remarks

Premier institute for PG and Phd in Pharmacy and I suggest prepare well to get into the institute and get a great experience.

Entrance Preview

GPAT, NIPER-JEE I had qualified in GPAT which is the eligible test to write NIPER JEE test and cleared NIPER JEE too and joined the prestigious National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) such a great experience for my post graduation from the premier institute of India.

Course Curriculum Overview

2 years post graduation in Pharmacy which covers the areas of research concerned about pharmaceutical education with one full year of project work so designed to meet industrial needs.

Internships Opportunities

Stipend was 8 thousand for month and numerous companies have visited for student internships and recruitments, companies like GSK, Dr. Reddies, CIPLA, Evalue serve, Value edge, Reckit benkieser etc.

Placement Experience

Placements was decent for MBA grads and good for M Pharma guys, GSK 12 lakh/annum, Dr. Reddies 4-6 lakh/annum, Sun Pharma 4-6 Lakh/annum, Novarties 6-10 lakh/annum.

College Events

Every event is celebrated by student leaders apart from foundation dayevery festival like Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Holi, Diwali, regional and National Festivals like Independence day, patriotic events like birth anniversery of Bhagat singh.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is a National Institute funding was there for every research work which needed so many instruments, chemicals & equipments so fee is feasible and a less affordable student could get world class facilities.

Scholarships for outstanding students for each semester and yes stipend for every student who joined NIPER by clearing the entrance exam.

Campus Life

It is 130+ acres huge campus with lot of flora and fauna, huge labs and biggest well furnished library with journals e library, sports kits and big play grounds, tennis and shuttle courts.

Hostel Facilities

Each student is given single room and its his/her wish to share the room on own interest, very well furnished spaccious rooms with cot, reading table chair, well painted walls, fan ventilation facilities like bathrooms washing machines and drinking water facility.

Alumni/Alumna

Best alumni from its Inception from 19994 and constant interaction with seniors and contemporaries very useful in exchanging views and ideas with best of the knowledge information available.

Exam Structure

Exams were of semester pattern for masters students and 6 months periodic electronic presentations on the research work done by masters students and Ph.D students.

Faculty there in NIPER are Numero Uno and the best in country of course some are best in world holding Doctorate and post doctorate degrees from renowned university around the world like NIH (National Institute of Health, IIT Delhi, Punjab University etc.

Placement Experience:

There are barely any core pharma companies visiting the campus for M pharma placements. Most students especially in pharmaceutics have to fund jobs on their own after graduation.
