Sachin Gupta's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Jamshedpur

As per my rank I got mechanical branch in NIT JAMSHEDPUR.also the NIT JAMSHEDPUR PLACEMENT RATE is good.so I decided to take admission in NIT JAMSHEDPUR.also the college has good NIRF ranking.I am from the mechanical engineering branch. Placements of the mechanical branch are very good. Almost all the students got placed in decent companies

Faculty members of mechanical engineering are highly qualified. Most of the professors have done their PhDs from IISc Bangalore or foreign universities. So you can guess about their knowledge. They have good teaching skills. Especially labs of our college are very good, even the reputed companies like Ashok Leyland, Tata Steel, etc., visit our labs for several experiments.

Companies like BPCL, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Maruti Suzuki, Volvo, Tata Metaliks, Hero, L&T, Honda etcc provide internship for the meritorious students for 2 months.

Other than studies, there are many things to do here. If you are good at drama, then you can join the dramatics club, if you are a singer, then there is a music club for you. There are also technical clubs which makes drones, bikes, electric car, solar car, off-road cars, etc. They take part in national and international events and secure top ranks. So there is good exposure for your hidden talent

There are lots of scholarship. National scholarship portal that is NSP Provides at least 75000 rupees for low financial students.also there is ekalyan scholarship which provides 50000 per year to the students.

The infrastructure of the college is not good because it is 60 years old. However, 2019 batch students shouldn't have to think more about infrastructure as a new lecture hall complex is under construction. This building has all the smart classrooms and centralised air-conditioning facility. The construction work will be completed in May. Moreover, all the classes will be shifted here from the new session.The hostel looks like a hotel. It is the best hostel among all NITs.
