Kislay Kumar's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Jamshedpur

The infrastructure and placements are excellent, but the faculty are not up to the mark. Jamshedpur is in industrial area. So we can get internship in different industries.The nirf ranking of this college is in top 70.Also this college has very much reputation.

Faculty members in NIT Jamshedpur are not up to the mark. Their communication skills are not that good, but they are helpful. The female to male faculty ratio is very low. You will get a chance to visit an industry in the third year. The course curriculum was actually good compared to other institutions

The placement rate of 2017 batch was tremendous, but the average salary offered was not much good. There is a training and placement cell (TnP cell). Its work is actually commendable. It is the backbone of the placement status of the college. The company which visits are Tata Steel Tata motors, microsoft L$T.

There are two kinds of festivals organised in the college. They are a cultural festival and technical festival, each conducted for 3 days in February and March respectively. The campus surrounding is not that good as it is full of tribes. There are many extracurricular activities like sports meet, guest lectures, GD sessions, quizzes etc.

I have taken NSP SCHOLARSHIP.THIS scholarship is for those students whose family income is less than 2 laks.I get 70000 per year.thanks nit Jamshedpur for giving me scholarship which helps me a lot.

There were shabby classrooms, no proper roads, and not much good gardening. However, in the last 2 years, the campus has been renovated. There are completely new roads, two huge hostels to accommodate 1500 students, and a huge canteen where around 1000 students can share their dine. Quality of labs is not much good. All the emergency services like an ambulance and medical facilities are available.

Food provided in the hostel is actually very good because of the transparency in the tenders which were made online.Each boy has provided a single room with proper facilities for everything. There is a night canteen for the students which opens from 10 PM to 3 AM everyday
