There is a lot of paper work or rather clerical work that goes on every semester and that's pathetic this builds up unnecessary stress and waste of time submissions procedure can be lot more improved for effective management.

I gave All competitive exam prominently IIT mains, BITSAT, AIEEE and maharashtra CET my score was lower in national level exams and so i attempted for college in Maharashtra with a score of 100 in Mh-CET i got admitted to Maharashtra Institute of Technology. Its best College for Mechanical engineering in Aurangabad after Govt. college and also one of the very few colleges to offer B.Tech Degree and not traditional BE.

Course is very good and well compiled and frequently updated as name is B.Tch course changes are made with advancement in Technology. The faculty at college are very good and well versed in Hindi And English & even Marathi. Always there to clarify the doubts, the teachers are very friendly there.

Internship i undertook was at Metalman Auto Pvt. Ltd. in Waluj, MIDC, Aurangabad It was a 6 months extensive training! I Had this auspicious opportunity to work at a giant group that caters to domestic as well as International Automobile companies like, Bajaj, Mahindra & Mahindra, Renault, JCB, Lear, etc. I worked on Cost Estimation & Cost Reduction there.

Placements and Job opportunities are good thanks to the big industrial hub MIDC, WAluj in city itself. Many local and multinational Companies approach MIT campus for recruitments. Approximately 60 companies visit the campus each year in all.

College festivals are vivid and many in number the annual fest named Kalavihangum is the biggest and most prominent among all. The annual gathering sees huge crowd from college fellows and local public. Other festivals that go on are, SciClone, a one of its kind event organized by First Year students based on Science on Science Day each year. Other fests are, Vertex, Techno-millennium, Natualami, etc.

Being a localite i have no in person hostel experience still based on my friends' experience, its good the rooms are sufficient in space to accomodate 2 pax. Both options are available namely air conditioned rooms and once with non A.C. talking about mess food is not so good and people prefer joining tiffin service anyhow other PG options are also available nearby to reside.

I didnt avail and require loan however maharashtra and national government have many schemes running continuously for students to avail best education at affordable price information shall be available regarding the same on their corresponding website.

The engineering building has different parts and some part is newly constructed Labs are good with all necessary equipments but some need much more equipments for effective learning gender ratio in mechanical engg is quite obviously low hoever in other branches it is as much as 50:50.

The alumni network needs to be much more stronger the seniors has friendly and helpful but alumnis play a little role anyhow steps are now being taken to improve the scenario.
