Remarks :
It was the only college that provided a degree course in logistics management. The college gives a lot of freedom to the students and one thing I very much like about the college is it's class timing, which is from 8-1. 30. The main reason why I took Logistics is beause I was afraid of pursuing engineering and logistics seemed like a viable option with the current economic scenario.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It's good. Syllabus is periodically updated and I received great industrial exposure in the form of internships, with around 5 months of on the job training experience. Regarding the facilities, apart from the teachers of my department everyone else is great. Special mention to our department head Mrs. Neenu Jose who has shown immense professional and teaching skills, giving space to the students to storm their ideas, giving them the right amount of freedom but has strictness to her methods.
Internships Opportunities :
There are 3 internships and 3 OJTs as a part of my curriculum. It is a must for me and is unoaidy
Placement Experience :
I haven't received any placement as of now because I just got into my final year. So I can't answer your question properly. But yeah, there are many local companies coming to hire students from the college
College Events :
Poor management of Fests, there have been incidents were students from other colleges left the in the middle of the competition because our students participated and they got the clues to the games prior to the starting of the event. The only good thing I can say is that our college has cultural day every Friday. But even during then students get drunk and make mess, which is very insulting to the people who take the time to perform infront of everyone
Campus Life :
It's okay. Our sports ground is 2-3 kms away from the college, the computer lab has an outdated assembly of computers. Library is okay. No wifi available to students. The only available space for the students to chill or take a break has now been converted into an open space gym for the fitness course
