Dinesh Rathi's Review On MS Bidve Engineering College, Latur

The college infrastructure is awesome labs are newly equipped with latest equipment, college staff is experienced all the faculty is near about 20 years old & some of them are from the time college started the only problem is with the placement which has to be look after with seriousness once the placement problem is solved we will have one of the best colleges in the town & all around.

I had given CET for engineering altought i tried different entrance examinations but to qualify for the college i did this was enough there was no interview as the process was centralised & we just got admission on the amount of PCM & CET percentage.

The mechanical engineering course covers almost everything in the academics which i should say almost every college coveres altough we did not get as much as practical knowledge of whatever was thought in the class but the theory covered everything that was needed to.

College does not proveide interenship we have to search for ourselves & manage , TPO just gives you the contacts & hardly helps in whatever is happening with you . I myself went throuight my contacts to get the internship & did not get any stipend as i was in ineed of it & not the people i worked with . Altough we had to give a seminar based on the same which helped us knowing & building up the stage courage & confidence which is further needed.

Wish i could skip the question but its bad & this is the only field of improvement one needs in our college they are trying but not the way the other colleges do , students from our college have better knowledge than i will say any other students out there its just not many companies come & pick up the students in the campus interviews , which pushes them back 6 months from other college looking for job search & its bad in the real world out there when you are done with engineering & with no job in hand.

There is a annual social gathering which takes place every year in our college && covers all aspect which includes sports, cultural events etc from last 2-3 years they are also hosting a national event every year with competiotions like robo race, robo war, etc which helps students with the management skills develop.

Fee structure is expensive but its same all over now a days so no compain with that i was a localite so hardly had any experience with the hostel & mess food but with watever i have seen & experienced its well & good clean & healthy the time we got out of the college the hostel fees per year was around 10k & mess was around 6-7k a year.

Loan facility is not provided but there is a option to pay your fees in installments scholarships whatever is provided by government i am a general caste so i did not get benefit of anything but i had a educational loan from a bank which i used to pay up the fees for 4 years.

We have students from different states of india but mostly from maharashtra itself gender ratio is around 70:30 of which 70 are boys and 30 would be girls competitions as mentioned above goes department wise which they host events among themselves & annual gatherming everyone fights with eachother for the price of whatever it may be.

The alumni network & seniors helps a lot after you are done they guide us with whatever they can & even provide us the way to go look for a job or any course which they did , and what struggle they have to go with my senior helped me with arranging some interviews & of which one i got job in college Tpo has all the details right from email id to phone numbers of the alumni & they provide whenever needed.
