Remarks

St Alberts College was one of the best college in our city. It is a autonomous college. It has a good campus. Our college prioritise the well being and growth of the students by nurturing a healthy learning based community. Arts, sports and academics stand alongside one another. I was B.VOC. Renewable Energy student, as the name suggest it is vocational training program. This course deals with aspects related to renewable energy

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus deals with aspects related to renewable energy. On every even semesters we had one month training. So we had enough industrial exposure. The faculty members were not as good as we thought. Their behaviour to the students are harsh and rude. So i am disappointed with the faculty

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies like Sutherland visited our college for placement and job opportunities. About 20% of the students gets placed after the degree program. There ain't any notable alumini from our batch. And there are no famous startup by our batchmate

College Events

I am disappointed with the cultural festivals conducted in our college. But the technical and management festivals should be really appreciated. Inter college festivals are conducted in our college in which students from different colleges can participate

Campus Life

It has good a good campus. A spacious library with lots of books. Our college has a basket ball court and a court for tennis and badminton. Our college has wifi facilities only accessible by the faculty members and not by the students. Our college also has well equipped laboratory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

LIFE AT ST.ALBERT'S COLLEGE:

Admission process Little bit hard. because our college is one of the best in the state and district. also it's autonomous so they have their own process for admissions. after applying for allotment they'll publish the ranklist and who have more ranks will get the admission upto the course they applied. eg; if the girl who had rank 1 was not there in admission time. the seat will directly go to 2nd rank person.
