Remarks

It's affiliated to American Heritage University, and we can work and earn, simultaneously where the the classes will be held on weekends and the degree has got global recognition so I had to choose this.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties of the college are very good and all of them carry their respective industry exposure with them and it is an added advantage for the students since it is work and study program they interact and get to know the solution from the faculty

I have interned at Kelly Services, as Recruitment Executive and 11000 was the stipend.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities are just about average and it all depends upon the student on how he does his interview. The students are sent to the company's campuses and they do take interviews and based on feedback the next set of students are set

College Events

There is a Rotract club and every alternative week we have guest lectures from the industry heads and also trips for educational and social purposes. They organise blood banks every month and encourage all of us to participate.

Campus Life

The campus is pretty small, it's based out in Bangalore palace and all the buildings we use as classrooms, hostels and auditorium was built by the Mysore Maharaja. It's pretty old but well maintained.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible after 7th or 8th sem for placements. There are so many companies visit in our college... it's hard to list them but yeah... Highested package ever is i think 50LPA but I am damn sure it could be an offcampus stuff and average package is around 3-4LPA Percentage of students getting placed varies WILDLY with respect to department and as far as my department is concerned we are not doing too bad...around 60-65% My main plan after getting the degree is to first get a job on campus and pay up my education loan

In the begning of our 2nd year we had an orientation in which the HOD stated that almost 50-70 students from 6th sem were placed even before starting the 4th year and the highest package at the begning was nearly 40LPA

Students are eligible for campus placements only from their 7th sem. Usually 200+ companies visit our college with offer of 900+. Almost 80 to 85 percentage of students get placed since the recession is on phase the rate is normal. My plan is to enter a semiconductor insustry after my degree.

Gems B school is the only college in the country which has a different concept (work-study-work) to study management.
