MYRA School of Business Facilities
The MSB Campus is an internationally acclaimed masterpiece of design and engineering. It was designed to give students the best environment to study and collaborate. While it is a radical departure from the traditional business school architecture, it was designed to address the specific needs of management students – fostering an atmosphere that is conducive to learning, collaboration, and networking.
The campus was designed by the award-winning Bangalore firm, Architecture Paradigm, which was inspired by the ensemble of rocks and boulders that dot the Bangalore–Mysore highway. It makes optimum use of space and natural light and has often been referred to as “poetry in concrete.” The academic architecture resonates with vision and mission. It is designed to create two worlds – a futuristic exterior image, a facade that expresses the aspirations of the institution and all the stakeholders, and the interior world is a microcosm of the city, a series of public spaces and quadrangle, drama of light and shades, and a stunningly beautiful library for knowledge sharing and discovery.
The campus features a floating classroom, 6 lecture halls, a 200-seater auditorium, 2 amphitheaters, 2 board rooms, 14 faculty offices, a 3-level library, 3 lounges, 2 executive classrooms, 6 multipurpose seminar halls, an administrative block, a cafeteria, and ample open learning spaces to promote creativity and collaboration. The MSB campus is a radical departure from the traditional “stuffy classrooms and narrow hallways” model. It encourages students to wonder, reflect, and think. It addresses the specific needs of management students – fostering an atmosphere that is conducive to learning, collaboration, and networking. It is located in Mysore’s own ‘Silicon Valley’, which also hosts the Infosys Leadership Institute, BEML, L&T, and many others. The location and quality of the campus have made it a sought-after location for international academic conferences and corporate workshops.
The campus offers a Managed Housing Facility for students, with annual accommodation fees ranging from INR 90,000 to INR 1.2 Lakh depending on the room type, inclusive of 3 meals per day. The college also operates a transport facility, available to students as a paid service.
