Remarks

The college is neither good nor bad. This is just the average college with the management whose motive is only money making. The faculty is the only one strength of the college that I know.

Entrance Preview

EEE, my passion of being an Computer Engineer made me to opt for this particular college. This is one of the best colleges of my town and I was not allowed to go out of town for my studies. That's why I chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum provided by the University is the worst that I can expect. The whole emphasis is on theoretical knowledge rather than practical skills. And yes, the Faculty of the college is cooperative that is fulfilling the need of every student to get the answers that he expects from his teacher.

Internships Opportunities

Generally, no major company arrives our college. But there are some local companies that ask for the internship with no introductory stipend. We can say campus placements are not there, college provides us the link to some companies asking for the internship.

Placement Experience

1.5

As there is no direct placement from the college, some of the students were placed by reaching the company asking for the interview, some are still looking for their job. Starting packages by such companies are not more than twenty thousand rupees per month.

College Events

1

There used to be a three day long technical and cultural festival called 'Esfuerzo' holded by the college, but this year there is no fest organised in the college. The participation in the fest last year was from the students by the college and other local schools and colleges. This used to be a fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a private college that is one of the very few colleges in our town, the fee structure is not feasible and is thus expensive. There are a lot of fines imposed on us. The fee for each semester is to be paid by the students in advance.

Fees and Financial Aid

A Scholarship of Rs.10, 000 is provided to those who have got more than 80 percent in each semester with no backs ever. The loan facility is not offered by the college.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is the same as that of a primary school. There is no fun in the college with a lot of boundations such as the dress is compulsory as that of a school and there is no free lecture, departmental activities, etc.The whole concern is on studies.

Hostel Facilities

2

Maximum of the students in the college are from nearby areas. There are only a few students who have taken the hostel. More than 50 percent of the seats of hostel are vacant and thus there is no need of PG's to stay.Hostel rooms are average.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no interaction, we had with our alumni and we are the senior most students of the college so no comments here.My experience with my college seniors is only the personal. There is no event organized by the college to make the juniors interact with their seniors.

Exam Structure

The whole emphasis is on theory and the practicals are just the formality. There are sessionals conducted two times per semester for the revision of what we studied in the lectures and for the preparation of semester exams. There are labs where we have to spend the time surfing over the web and look for the experiments over the web.

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods, etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.
