Remarks

Kingston is very renowned college in the Barasat Barrackpore area. My home tutor to apply for the college. Also the fees is just 120000 and the semester fees from 13500 rupees. And from my house this college is very just 5-6 km. So I choose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

All faculty members are very strict but friendly. They always help us to study. The study material are given by our faculty members of all subjects at free of cost. They also give us practice sets and take mock test monthly or weekly basis. Syllabus is very good. It contains many progamming or coding subjects.

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are average. But good if you compared with same fees college placements are really. A skilled student can get job at MNCs. If you well-skilled you can get 3.5 lakhs per year starting salary. Mid-scored students like me they can easily get job if they leart web developement.

College Events

We enjoyed all the extracurricular activities, college fest, annual function etc, which held in our college. We celebrate many cultural festivals like holi, diwali etc. In our fest many artist and actor and music bad came. We all enjoyed. This is fantastic.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is very good. Our college campus is very big also, it spread over 90 acres of area. Playground is very big. We have a good library, modern classrooms etc in our college. Our college has many well designed seminar halls for every department.

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. - I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
