Remarks

Future aspects and explorable options like good companies and environment. Also due to the location of the campus i.e, Jamshedpur, being the steel city of India it allows many enginerring students to grasp practical approaches easily. Due to wide presence of TATA Industries we were very much privileged to gain industrial insights, easily

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum needs an updation thoroughly, not only true for this institute but for every insti in India. Academics wise it was Okay, though in college student needs to be self aware all the time about their performances. Faculties were rude and not helping most of the time

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I was selected for an on-campus paid internship in DAIKIN Air-conditioning India Pvt Ltd (DAIPL), Neemrana, Rajasthan. I had a profile of Student Intern dealing with Industrial standards and Sales and Marketing prospects. It was a 6-week program, 3-weeks to be apent in Neemrana facility and 3-weeks to be on-site duty, in my case it was Delhi and Raipur. Stipend was for selected students only for about Rs. 10000

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are pretty good for this institute, as we used to in Top 3 in All India NIT rankings in terms of placements. We had a MoU signed with TATA Motors, and TATA Steel were yearly clients for us. Placement process is generally a Written test round for qualified students with minimum 7.00cgpa requirement and followed by GD/PI. Our Alumni network is pretty good too, comprising of almost thousands of alumunus. Startup wise, we had a very famous firm emerged out of college i.e, Confirmtkt pvt ltd, started by two fo CSE students of insti

College Events

4.5

Extracurriculars were good, as we have severals of technical teams and fests happening around day-night. In Technical teams we had, Formula student racing team, Off-Road Dirt bike team, RC Plane team, solar Vehicle team, etc. We had two major fest, techno-management fest and Cultural fest. There's an Annual alumni meet happening every year, too

Fees and Financial Aid

Central Sector Scheme Scolarship, provided by CBSE to students studying in colleges, mainly in CFTIs for around 10000 a year. And also can apply for Swamy Dayanand Education Foundation (SDCEF) which may vary amount ranging from 10000 to 100000

Campus Life

4

Infrastucture of Academic building was below average but hostel facilities and rooms were way much better even better than newer IITs and NITs, supposingly older have bad hostels. Mess foods were also good. Labs were old enough and no campus Wi-Fi

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facilities and rooms were way much better even better than newer IITs and NITs, supposingly older have bad hostels. Mess foods were also good. Labs were old enough and no campus Wi-Fi. Wr had separate wifi for hostels which used to be working only post 07:00pm till morning 08:00am

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very fond of mathematics in my intermediate times that's why I chose to do my graduation from BSC Maths Honours. But I chose the wrong college for doing so, which overall ruined my life. After coming to this college, I lost my interest in studies and this is the only thing I gained from this college. So, I would recommend everybody to stay away from this college.
