Anonymous's Review On Pravara Rural Engineering College - [PREC] Loni, Ahmednagar

I was very much interested to pursue telecom or Instrumentation engineering course.I selected the Pravara College of Engineering for below factors at the time of admission.- Affiliation to Pune University- Experienced faculty- Latest technology labs- Pristine and blissful environment- Very good hostel with low cost of living

College being affiliated to Pune university the curriculum was very much updated time to time with latest content.Industrial exposure was provided by arrangment of annual visits to different industrial plants.Faculty was very very good in the field of their expertise. Many of them M.Tech, M.E. and few of them P.HD. as well.

Some companies had visited for campus placement. e.g. Supreme Petrochemicals, etc. However we relied more on alumni network and referrals. I do not remember if any Enterpreneur cell existed at that time in our college.

Campus life was very active and filled with good vibes (may be because of pristine environment). There used to be regular technical and cultural events each year. Annual sports events used to be held regularly. College management would actively encourage students and teams to participate in inter college sports and technical competition events.

Campus was self sufficient with day to day needs. The hostel was big and sufficient. The first year student hostel was separated from senior students (S.E, T.E, B.E.). Campus had a nice canteen. Each hostel had a separate mess for food. The campus had a very nice temple on a hill.

First Year student boys hostel had around 200 rooms. Senior boys Hostel had around 500 rooms. Hot water facility was present. Mess was available. Canteen was near the hostel. Rooms were sufficient. cupboard was present. Beds were provided. We had to arrange our own bedding.
