Skillful Facult, Less Fees,Great Infrastructure,Location, Great Rating,placement records,Freedom, I opted this course because I had interest in culinary activities so I choose Hindustan college of Arts and science coimbatore for its reputation

Being an autonomous institution it has it's own updated syllabus, Industrial exposure was quite nice had 3 months of internship training in Chennai which was associated by the college, Faculties are skillful and talented, Chef sebastian shelvin was a great teacher he thought us many delicious recipes some of his own recipes

Class Size: 51Course Fees: INR 24500 per year

I interned in the Hotel name crowne plaza in Chennai my stipend was around 2000 for three months

Hotels like crowne plaza, Taj,Marriott international, Hyatt and many other leading hotels are in our college placement list,I'm not sure with the number of students placed,alumni networking is so great,old students visit our department and always motivate us

College Events

Hilaricas which is a very famous cultural event for the whole coimbatore is been conducted by our college each year on February 14 (valentine's Day) and other inter departmental symposium and paper presentation competitions are conducted throughout the year by our college.

Campus Life

Our college has the largest play ground in coimbatore city with equipped sports facilities and free college wifi was not provided, our college had a large library with more than 3000 books which is a air conditioned library, our kitchen (which was our food production lab) is well equipped and it had a huge space for accommodating 60 students at a time

Atmosphere and affordability

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students will be eligible without any backlog. Axis bank, Deloitte, zuilka motors , Maruti Suzuki I got offer letter from 2 companies Axis Bank and zulika motors Axis Bank offered for 240000/- per annum and zulika motors offered 300000/- per annum. Then I tried outside also I got even better package 420000/- per annum at Avias india manufacturer of stainless Steel and kitchenware. So I went with Better package I went for 5 months then I resigned the job for the higher studies

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.
