SRM has been home to a lot of bright minds and brilliant innovations. The placements are efficient with 10 lakh PA placements for super dream companies and almost 75% placement overall. The thing I like the most about my college is that it provides a great deal of exposure in ways like tech teams, student run Techno-Management fests, one of the largest cultural fests, enlightening research and incubation centers, etc. Reason behind me opting ECE is because I was a nerd about this field since my school days and with the level of exposure that SRM had to offer, I had to pursue that interest.

Curriculum in my college was updated in the year that I joined (2018) so it has a lot of new and updated syllabuses. Industrial exposure is something that the college has been constantly providing for the students to pursue.Faculty is very helpful for whatever doubts we have and has been a constant source of knowledge for people who truly seek to learn.

Companies that are visited are of variety. So ranging from top tier companies to the general mass recruiter companies, all have a presence in odur college. The placement process includes signing up for an update portal. The alumni network is pretty strong in our campus as the directorate of alumni affairs holds very frequent interactions with alumnus. New start ups like iventors, LearnYuva, etc. Are very common in our campus. One notable alumni from our campus is Shlok Srivastava (techburner - YouTube channel)

Techno-Management Aaruush takes place in September 1st week generally and being a completely student run organization, its execution and quality is excellent. Cultural fest is Milan and it is one of India's biggest cultural fest with an impressive guest line up, etc.

Campus has a huge infrastructure of almost 200 Acres with a lot of sports facilities like a running track, basketball court, tennis court, open gym, regular gym, football ground, etc. And obviously Asia's largest auditorium T.P. Ganesan Auditorium. The library is in the entirety of the 3 floors of University Building of the campus and has almost every book for student's requirements. The WiFi at its best catches a speed of 1 gbps also and the lab equipments are good enough for students to learn but can be improved to an extent.

Hostel infrastructure is adequate and needs a lot of improvement. The choices are 3 sharing no washroom in which the room is too small and uneven distribution of closet space is given for the 3 roommates. 3 sharing attached washroom has gor not much of an issue as long as maintenance is regular. But the price for all the combinations are way greater than other colleges
