Remarks

Management is very poorly handeled, no one takes responsibility for anything. They only crave for fees even in lockdown they forced students to pay full fees

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum involves every subject that is relevant for the student to make him professional prepared for the corporate world. Many internal assessment are being done throughout the course and students are being well prepared both practically, given technical knowledge of the field and soft skills are also developed at best. Case studies are being taught related to the subject and industrial visit were also there.

Placement Experience

3.5

Many companies visit college including Asian Paints, Aditya Birla, Sri Ram Life Insurance, Satguru, Bijus, Deloitte etc. For recruitment first aptitude test is being conducted, than GDPI round. College has the 100% placement record. For the preparation of placement various GDPI classes are being organised by the college as well as aptitude classes are also being arranged

College Events

2.5

We have one month induction programme followed by an event called eventia, then janamashtami is celebrated, then comes ganesh chaturthi mainly every festival is celebrated in the college including diwali and Christmas. Quizes are being held from time to time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a little expensive according to the campus and the placement.I program is PGDM in finance, mode of payment is through cash as well as bank transfer. Yes intilal fees have to be paid to secure admission. Yes transperancy is being provided in fee breakdown

Fees and Financial Aid

College do not offer any kind of scholarship. We have to pay the entire fees no matter what we score.

Campus Life

It's a co-ed college and the gender ratio is 70:50 as boys:girls. There is nothing called campus life here as they don't give any. The campus is very small and he'll lot of rules and regulations are there. The management have narrow thinking and are orthodox as they belong to army background. Many illogical rules are being imposed on the student

Hostel Facilities

Yes I opted for hostel for one year.Hostel rooms are very small, no space at allCleaning is pathetic and not hygiene at allWarden too is uselessHostel rooms are in 2 person Sharing. One side of cupboard, a table and a bed is provided. Wifi is also provided

Alumni/Alumna

Various alumni interaction session are being organised in the college and networking is to be done by your end only.

Admission

I wanted to get maximum insights of the corporates and industries that's why I chose PGDM course and finance specialisation.I gave various entrance exams like CMAT and after the cutoff score I had to appear for GDPI round to get the admission in the college.I chose the college because it is one the top ranked Bschool in the country

Faculty

2

Every day we have 6 lectures, the faculty mostly have 10+ years of experience and are mostly PHDin their field. And most of them have worked in the corporate so they provide practical knowledge at their best. Subject are being made clear but the exam pattern is not so good

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
