Remarks

i think overall ibs gurgaon is a very good college in term of faculty, management and the academics and even the co curricular activities. there are many cells and other activities also.one thing that can bother you is the infrastructure that is too small for a mba college but the location is quite well.

Course Curriculum Overview

there are 4 semester and it is a 2 year course. the 1st year is common and in the 2nd year you have to chose your specialization as marketing, hr or finance or you can go for major minor subjects. if you take about exams there were assignments. project and presentations as well as mod sem exams and finals sem exams in each semester as well as there is summer internship of 3 months

Fee Structure And Facilities

it is feasible the total is around 8lakh 40 thousand that you have to pay in 5 installment and there is facility of bridge loan. but hostel is not included. you have to pay some 1lakh 44 thousand in each installment and you can pay them by bank or online and many other mode are there which ever suits you

Fees and Financial Aid

yes the college offer scholarship but this year because there are many students those fall in the criteria of scholarship so the college divide the total money into the students and as i have scored 9.5 cgpa i got some thousand 800 rupees.

Campus Life

there is a good gender ratio or you can say equal gender ratio. there are people from different background and from different state. even there is 0 tolerance regarding any miss behaviour in the college and there is no ragging there are many workshops and events that being organised there are different cells and each and every festivals and events are being celebrated. like from lohri to diwali, ethnic day to social events and fest to freshers. you will see different kind of festival and events there are Friday events also. all the cells have different role like i m a part of social responsibility cell so we use to visit NGO and celebrate different events like independence day, lohri and cloths donation drive, plantation drive etc.you will enjoy each and very day there and they celebrate many of the vents like fest, EDC events and many more at a very large scale.

Hostel Facilities

there is no hostel facility so i have to take pg near the college.

Alumni/Alumna

yes there is a strong network of the seniors and they help you in placements as well as in internship even the seniors regular visits the college and alumina cell helps in this many seniors have there own venture or start up which help the juniors a lot.

Admission

I got through the entrance exam they have their own exam or you can get through the score of CAT or NMAT. I got this college NMAT and there will be a group discussion and personal interview after you clear the exam. the ROI of ibs gurgaon is quite well as well as the location and faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.
