Remarks

VJTI is overall a good college, I spent my precious 4 years studying there. Just I feel they offer some reserve seats for mumbai students only who lives in mumbai, all students coming outside of mumbai n local students didnt get admission in there.

Course Curriculum Overview

They offer too many courses and core fields likecivil civil and environmentalmechanicalindustrial electronicselectronics and telecommunicationtextileelectrical. All staff is very good faculty, almost every professor id PhD.Their easy teaching, notes made my degree.

Placement Experience

5

Vjti is poular college, almost every reputed company guve placement in here, package offered were so good, as I was pursuing for degree so I didnt applied. Our diploma has sandwich pattern so internship are offered to us for 1 year, it gives u sharpen mind also we get both theorotical and practical knowledge in our respected field.

College Events

5

We had a big event named technovanza, all the cultural activities like dance, drama, singing, dancing happens here. students has platform to show their talent. also has respective competitions field wise and ranking is awarded. Big celebraties are invited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As this is govt aided institute, we had very feasible fees compare to other engineering colleges. tution fees are also not taken from special cases. other people has very less fees so it was better college for students from challenged families so it was so good.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opted for scholarship as I didnt got any briliant marks. but many of my friend who had more percentage did applied and got the scholrships.

Campus Life

As engineering college at my time, we had 7 girls in whole colleg batch of 60, from which 2 of them were drop back. in our civil branch we did not much enjoyed workshops and all, yes but in sports we had a winning teams, but cheering was poor than others.

Alumni/Alumna

All our seniors were good in studying and very helpfull in problem solving, there offers us their notes and book in college days. and now many of them are bloggers, handling social pages on whatsapp in free time, which is a very good thing.

Admission

I applied after 10th in college, heard much about the college, have selected all courses and as per my merit I got civil and environmental engineering field which helps me to find my current job in public works dept, state govt. I an so happy to be a vjtian.

Faculty

5

All staff is very good faculty, almost every professor id PhD. Their easy teaching, notes made my degree in civil engineering easier, almost 70 percent sylbus of degree we learnt in diploma only. only few subjects are there which are advanced in degree.

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. I am in cybersecurity specialization and there are only 2 subjects(starting from 2nd year) related to cybersecurity.and those courses are good but the faculty teaching them arent that great. they just read out the ppts, which they dont even share.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.
