My cousin recommended me to join the college. As I had never really studied for JEE, so I had to choose this college. And the college said that it gives classes for AI and ML. So, in the last moment I was perplexed in dilemma of choosing the right college and ended up here.

The course curriculum is scattered. The questions that come in the cycle tests are focussed only. 90% of the faculties are m.tech and do not sound professional in class. Every month there is a cycle test of all subjects which is included in the internal marks. Classes are very regular and mostly 90% of students are present.They take 20,000 ruppees for placement training and 15,000 rupees for books every year mandatory for each student. They provide us 3 or more books for each subject but I have rarely seen any teacher or student using the books. Teachers usually provide handwritten notes pdf on whatsapp and that is how we study every semester. Some of the lab classes like operating system (2nd year subject), we have to do nothing, they literally just ask us to sit in the lab for 2 hours and do whatever we want to do. All they need is to have practical file updated and signed. They have their own website for coding which is called "elab" and it is very helpful for students to learn competitive coding. During lockdown, the classes were proposed to be from 8am to 6 pm inlcuding some breaks. At end of every semester they take a breakage fees like 250 ruppees or maybe more even if you haven't broken anything. Some class projectors never work and they never get repaired. There are some non credit subjects like Constitution of India and Value Education in which almost nothing happens but if your attendance is lower than 75%, they will ask for 10,000 ruppees immediately or they won't let you sit for exams. They take exam fees too which is of range 2800-4500 ruppees.

Adobe, amazon microsoft like big companies have hired from our college. 2 startups in my knowledge are also initiated.

We have 15+ clubs in our campus. So we are very active in conducting the events. Events of every domain is organised. Each department conducts their own fests. As there is no space is the college, stage events are conducted in the parking space. DJ nights are fun. But last time the some of the event tickets were not sold, and I am not making this up,the faculties were literally putting pressure on us or forcing us to buy it.Extracurricular activities happen but don't expect too much from them.

Top 100 scorers in SRMJEEE or state toppers are given scholarships. Many more types of scholarships are also there.

Ramapuram Campus size is about 25 acres. Library is very small. Wifi is there only for architecture and design students. Other students don't have access to wifi. For sports there was just a basketball ground which was torn off earlier this year. S right now, our campus has no place for sports. So, if you are into sports this campus is not suitable for you. Talking about lab, the computer labs of cse department mostly consists of very old computers. Most of them do not work at all. In one of the subjects we were assigned to a lab in which almost none of the computers worked. The teacher asked to bring our own laptops to study. Monitors have cracked screens, mouse do not work. Some of the lab chairs are also broken.

There are 4 hostels - BH1,BH2,BH3,BH4. BH3 is 8 floored building in which first 2 floors are hospital, next two floors are AC hostel, in which each room has 6 - 10 students and bathrooms are common for floor, rest of the floors are for non - AC in which there are also 6 - 10 students in every room, bathroom are common for each floor and are incredibly small, broken tiles and taps, it looks disgusting.BH2 is the main hostel which is 9 floored. All administrative work is done in BH2. It is non-ac and has the only mess for hostlers. Each room in BH2 has 3 students. There are three cupboards, three beds in each room. One of the three cupboards is incredibly small and the unlucky guy has it. There are 4 wifi on each floor which work for only 6 hours each day and most of the time it doesn't work at all. Cold water is always present. In BH2, only 1,2,8,9 floors have a bathroom which is clean to use, other floors bathrooms are very untidy and mostly broken, you can't even see your face clearly in the mirror. Bathrooms and rooms are cleaned by cleaning lady everyday. Bathrooms are common for every floor. Between July 2019, to November 2019, yellow muddy water was supplied to the hostel and the authorities sit still and we couldn't able to take a bath, we had to go to friend's apartment to do so. Mess are clean and provide quality food, although you can't eat their chappati. Outside food is strictly banned, so you can't order from swiggy and zomato to eat in your room. Other hostel is BH1, which is for seniors and has attatched bathrooms. BH4 is AC hostel with 2 students in a small room. In time for boys hostel is 8 pm.Now talking about girls hostel, they are not permitted to be out of their hostel even on Sundays and holidays without sign of the warden and class teacher. In time is 6 pm for them.
